Description

The 2005 Burmester Colheita Port is a rich, complex tawny port with a deep amber appearance and golden rim. Its nose is rich and aromatic, with dried fruits, caramel, toffee, and roasted nuts. The palate is smooth and velvety, with a well-balanced sweetness. The finish is long and satisfying, with lingering flavours of dried fruit, caramel, and oak.

Serving & Food Pairing:
Colheita Ports are ready-to drink and do not require decanting. Best enjoyed slightly chilled at 12-13ºC they will work wonders if pairing with treacle tart, crème brulee or nut based desserts, like hazelnut praline. Once opened colheita Port should be stored in a fridge and should be consumed within 2-3 months.
